The Chief of the General Staff, General Lee, went to Keelung on 3rd on behalf of Director Feng. He thanked all military members for immediate response and assisting recovery works around the clock.

General Lee was accompanied with Vice Mayor Yung-Fa Lin to debrief the situation and recovery works and Vice Mayor Lin was on behalf of the citizens to appreciate the swift reaction of the military.

Following was General Lee inspected the condition of members of Guandu Division and thanked them for transporting supplies to trapped citizens in Jinshan. Then, General Lee went to places where the road was under repair to collect the latest information and boost the morality representing Director Feng. General Lee specifically requested all officers to stay alerted to weather condition and keep the recovery works ongoing only under safe circumstances for all members.
